This refreshing watermelon mint lemonade is super quick and easy to prepare. You can play with the amount of water, mint, lemon and optional sweetener to make it just right for your tastes.
Prep time: 15 mins
Serves: 4Ingredients
- 6 cups Fresh Watermelon, cut into chunks (rinds removed)
- 3/4 cup Fresh Lemon Juice
- 1/2 cup Cold Water
- 1/2 cup Fresh Mint Leaves, Stems Removed, Packed Tightly
- Fresh Mint Springs for Garnish
- Lemon Slices for Garnish
Cooking Directions
- In a blender, add watermelon, lemon juice and 1/2 cup of cold water.
- Blend until it's in liquid form.
- Pour the mixture through a fine mesh strainer.
- Taste and add more water as desired.
- Sweeten with your favorite sweetener (OPTIONAL).
- Take 1/2 cup of fresh mint leaves and gently crush it with your fingers to release it's natural oils.
- Add the crushed mint to the bottom of your glass, pitcher or jar.
- To serve immediately, add ice and pour the mixture over the crushed mint and ice.
- Garnish with fresh lemon slices and a sprig of fresh mint.
